Love.

I remember my first week at the University of Georgia like it was yesterday. Moving in to Brumby, unpacking, and getting ready for sorority rush... no where in there did I have plans, hopes, or any kind of thoughts related to meeting a boy that would somewhere down the road put a ring on my finger. Angie and I settled into our dorm room, unpacked our belongings and got ready for a week of parties and finding our place in one of the many sororities on campus. Bid Day meant experiencing my first fraternity band party at Beta Theta Pi. Before making our way to the fraternity house, some of the older girls took us to Towne Club for a pre-game where we met several guys, one in a red Georgia hat stuck out from the rest.

As we left for the band party, that boy in the red hat escorted me, with an umbrella in hand, through the pouring rain and into the taxi. Some front row dancing, several fist pumping songs and hours of conversation, I was hooked on the boy in the red hat.

Little did I know that what would follow over the next 8 years would be many ups and downs, experiencing Athens together, a long distance relationship, lots of laughs and a question that would take us from boyfriend and girlfriend to husband and wife.
July 23, 2011. There was a plan. A question. A ring. Laughter. Tears. And shaking hands.
And now a new journey begins...

June 23, 2012. Two little words... "I do"... and we went from me and him to us... as we fall in to life as Mr. and Mrs., we know there will be ups and downs... but one thing is for certain... life will be so much sweeter together.
"'For I know the plans I have for you', declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future.'"
